Our Core Values

At Deloitte Mozambique, we are led and united by our global purpose – to make an impact that matters. We are the sum of the values, skills and ambitions of our most important and valuable asset who are our people. We are committed to responsible business practices, serving the public interest and working to create a better and a much more sustainable world for people, our clients and the planet.

Leading the way, serving with integrity, taking care of each other, fostering inclusion, and collaborating for measurable impact. These are the common values that define us, inspire our professionals, and keep them focused on what really matters every day, throughout their career.

Lead the Way

Deloitte is the leading professional service organisation in the world for a reason. Our quality services, scale and scope are unmatched, enabling our people to consistently serve clients with distinction and help shape professional services for the future.

Through our work, we serve the public interest by advancing business, reducing risk and inspiring confidence. We develop leaders who thrive on working together to tackle the most pressing challenges, preparing clients to succeed both now and in the future.

We also use our business and technology acumen to create opportunities in our communities and contribute to a more sustainable world. We have challenged ourselves to impact 50 million people by 2030, helping them fulfil their aspirations and find meaningful work in the new economy.

We serve with integrity

We believe in always doing the right thing. That is the guiding force behind every decision we make and every action we take, by acting ethically and with integrity, and serving as role models in our communities. By acting ethically and with integrity, Deloitte has earned the trust of clients, regulators, and the public. Upholding that trust is our single most important responsibility.

We abide by the Global Principles of Business Conduct (Global Code) and expect the same commitment from our clients, retributing quality and integrity.

We take care of each other

We prioritise respect, fairness, trust, development and well-being for the greater good of working together to achieve our aspirations. We look for one another and recognise potential and continue to provide mentorship. We value varied skill sets, reward performance and open doors for opportunities and growth.

We foster inclusion

We are at our best when we foster an inclusive culture and embrace diversity in all forms. We know a diverse workforce attracts top talent, enables innovation, and offers clients well-rounded solutions to complex problems.

Collaborate for measurable impact

We approach our work with a collaborative mindset, teaming across geographies, and skill sets, to deliver tangible, measurable and attributable impact. We play a critical role in helping clients and capital markets operate more effectively.

We measure our success not only by metrics, but also by the strength of the relationships we build, the level of innovation we bring to solving problems, and the company we keep as we deliver the best of Deloitte to the world.

Our values and purpose in action

As part of our purpose and values in 2020 we launched our global WorldClimate strategy. Deloitte must set and meet higher standards for itself, empowering our professionals and connecting with our broader ecosystem to create solutions that facilitate the transition to a low carbon economy. There are four pillars to our programme:

Cut emissions: Net-zero by 2030
Operate green: Address internal policies and practices to drive positive change
Empower individuals: Educate and inspire Deloitte people to act on climate change
Engage ecosystems: Engage with ecosystems to address climate change

In addition, through WorldClass - a global initiative to support 100 million people by 2030-, we are committing our most-valued asset – our people – to empower 10 million African people through education, skills development and access to opportunities.
