Brand and Culture - Junior Consultant

About the Job

• Pro-actively manage digital media communities, creating, writing and reviewing content plans

• Develop, plan and implement digital media ideas and content for achieving the business objectives for T&T. Further, create original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers.

• Manage Deloitte’s talent brand in a cohesive way to achieve the Firm’s marketing goals.

• Roll-out and monitoring the progress of the digital platforms content to other Member Firms.

1. Strategic Impact

• To come up with strategies, plan and implement all digital media activities and calendars

• Give strategic direction through community insights, idea generation and trend analysis

• Development of brand awareness and online reputation

• Content creation and management

• Implement digital media strategies in order to drive traffic on social media

• Keep up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

2. Client Impact: External / Internal

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with all T&T staff and other collaborators by ensuring clear, concise and timely communication regarding achievement of objectives as well as potential problem areas

• Establish, maintain and manage relationships with vendors to source quality and cost effective products / content to support Talent digital strategies.

3. Internal and External communications

• Taking generated content and distributing across appropriate digital media platforms as well as internal and external channels

• Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage digital media activities (to capture our target by infiltrating on various channels that will direct them to make use of our digital media platforms)

• Work with relevant internal people to explore and identify ways to integrate digital media into business strategies and marketing campaigns

4. Management of Digital Media queries

• Identify and direct queries where additional information is required from those interacting via digital media with our Firm in an appropriate manner

• Compile and adapt appropriate responses

5. Talent Branding

• Developing content through taking picture or videos to communicate our culture.

• Identify fun and engaging initiatives to keep the awareness of our Talent brand going

• Identify events that are happening firm wide to share and communicate content to attract people to Deloitte

• Ensure all campaigns are aligned to our digital strategy

• Stay abreast of current industry trends, current technologies and trends in digital media and advise leadership of these trends

• Research ideas and study successful competitor’s campaigns and report on these findings

• Compile monthly tracking of success points and share with leadership

6. Operational Efficiency

• Developing content through taking picture or videos to communicate our culture

• Identify fun and engaging initiatives to keep the awareness of our Talent brand going

• Identify events that are happening firm wide to share and communicate content to attract people to Deloitte

• Ensure all campaigns are aligned to our digital strategy

7. Projects

• Manage the Deloitte ImpACT portal including any further development/ enhancements in conjunction with GIS

• Manage the Deloitte ImpACT mobi site including any further development/ enhancements

• Support with Deloitte ImpACT events

• Assist with approving Deloitte ImpACT nominations

About You

We are looking for a recent graduate with the following qualifications:

  • 3 year Diploma in digital/social media or
  • B Com Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations with a strong understanding of digital/social media marketing strategies
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge. Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
