A huge congratulations to everyone! This is indeed a great achievement and an honour to have our very own tax professionals recognised as the ‘world’s leading female tax and indirect tax practitioners’, respectively,” said Bernadette Abbott, Chief Operating Officer, Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal (also listed in the Women in Tax Leaders guide).

This year, ITR has collectively recognised 512 Deloitte professionals in the Indirect Tax Leaders, Tax Controversy Leaders and Women in Tax Leaders categories across several jurisdictions.
“This recognition is testament to our leaders’ commitment to consistently delivering vision, clarity, and confidence in addressing some of our clients most pressing tax issues,” said Zubin Patel, Deloitte Global, International Tax Leader. “It is a proud moment for the organisation to have so many leaders recognised in all three guides for their invaluable work and it further emphasises the level of trust we continue to instil in clients.”
To be included in the guides, the leaders must have demonstrated remarkable work in their field of service. The guides evaluate individuals nominated by their peers as trusted advisers based on their skills, experience, and quality of client service. ITR further conducts a global research to validate these nominations.
