Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal female directors recognised as amongst world’s leading tax advisors in the 2020 Women in Tax Leaders Guide

We are delighted to announce that 12 of our Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal female directors have been recognised in the International Tax Review’s 2020 Women in Tax Leaders Guide, as leading female tax practitioners in the world. The Women in Tax Leaders Guide recognises outstanding female tax professionals through nominations and recommendations from their peers and clients in the industry.

This year the organisers reached out to more than 2 500 leading tax professionals from around the globe as well as almost 10 000 clients to gather their feedback about their markets and the female tax advisors who stand out in these markets. The resulting list comprises those female tax leaders who were recognised by the leading names in their own and international markets, as those who perform strongest in their field. These female leaders also possess evidence of outstanding performances in the past year.

This year’s guide recognised 237 Deloitte professionals representing 58 jurisdictions cementing Deloitte’s leadership for the fifth consecutive year.

"I am delighted that ITR has once again recognised so many of our professionals as being among the very top tax advisors,” said Philip Mills, Deloitte Global Tax & Legal Leader. “Inclusion is one of Deloitte’s shared values. Our inclusive culture which embraces diversity in all forms attracts top talent, enables innovation, and helps deliver well-rounded client solutions. This absolutely strengthens our organisation to meet the challenges in a rapidly changing, increasingly digital environment for tax and legal services.”
