Dr Deonie Botha is the Associate Director responsible for Strategic Knowledge management at Deloitte Africa. Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche she managed the Knowledge management capabilities of various listed companies in the natural resources sector. Dr Botha lectured in Knowledge management at the University of Pretoria (2001-2008) and is a Board member of the South African Society of Knowledge Management. She has an extensive list of publications and international conference presentations which include two books, more than twenty-one titles on Knowledge management and several study guides for local universities. Currently, she is authoring a publication on the integration of digitally transformed Knowledge management into organisational work processes. Dr Botha holds a doctorate (Knowledge management) and two masters degrees (Information Science and Information technology) and is working towards a MSc in Mining Engineering.
