Nazrien Kader | Managing Partner Deloitte Africa Taxation Service
As well as being the Managing Partner for Deloitte Africa Taxation Services and a member of the Deloitte Executive Committee, Nazrien is also the Leader for the Financial Services Tax team at Deloitte. She is involved in consulting to a portfolio of corporate listed-to-medium sized clients in the financial services industry on a wide range of income tax issues. Nazrien has played a senior tax advisory role in several complex corporate transactions.
Nazeer Essop | Director: Public Sector Leader
Nazeer is the Public Sector Leader in Southern Africa and Audit leader at Deloitte. He has tremendous insight into PFMA and Public Sector related issues. He is the key liaison Partner for the firm with regards to the Auditor-General of SA (AG).

Ashleigh is a healthcare actuary with significant experience working in the healthcare and data analytics industries. She is the appointed actuary to the Council of Medical Schemes. Ashleigh provides strategic actuarial advice to medical schemes, service providers and companies. In addition, Ashleigh provides “non-traditional” actuarial advice, such as assisting entities with social reform, health reform, tariff modelling, economic modelling as well as strategic workforce planning initiatives.

Sisa is a Director who has built over 10 year’s experience servicing clients with the Manufacturing and Public Sectors industries. Sisa completed his chartered accountancy learnership (articles) with the Deloitte Port Elizabeth Office in 2008 prior to moving into the Risk Advisory business of the firm in 2009. His auditing background includes both internal and external auditing advisory such governance reviews development of procedure manuals with focus on key controls, where he developed intimate knowledge of both local and national government internal and external structures.
Thrisha Soni|Director: Regional contact for KwaZulu-Natal
Thrisha expertise lies in the area of Corporate Taxation and she services some of the larger listed clients of the KwaZulu-Natal practice. Her specific expertise lies in the areas of international tax, restructure transactions and implementations, transfer pricing as well as other corporate tax matters. She has successfully managed major structuring projects involving global clients and due diligence review projects. Her special interest is in the area of government grants, inbound investments into South Africa and various tax incentives.
Anthea Scholtz|Director: Regional contact for the Western Cape
Anthea is a Tax partner at Deloitte and provides tax advisory services to a number of multi-national oil and gas companies. She is the national chairman of Deloitte Women in Leadership in South Africa and also serves on the board of Deloitte Africa. She heads up the national Tax Oil and Gas Industry group for Deloitte in South Africa and Western Cape. Anthea is also the leader of the Global Employer Services unit for Deloitte in the Western Cape region. She is the author of the comprehensive book on taxation, Pay Less Tax and the co-author of the book, Everyone’s Guide to the Tax Return.
