Nazrien Kader | Lead Partner: Africa Tax & Legal

Nazrien Kader is the Lead Partner for Tax Management Consulting at Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal. Nazrien also leads the Financial Services Industry (FIST) Tax team for Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal. Nazrien has over 23 years of experience in the area of corporate income tax, advising clients across the spectrum of income tax, primarily in the financial services industry.

Nazrien is the former member of the Executive Committee of Deloitte Africa and the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Tax & Legal Executive, a position she held for 8 years (until 31 May 2018). As Managing Partner for Deloitte Tax & Legal Services in Africa (representing 15 Anglophone countries), her primary responsibilities included the strategic direction, operational execution and overall leadership of the Africa Tax & Legal Executive.

Anthea Scholtz|Director: Regional contact for the Western Cape

Anthea is a Tax partner at Deloitte and provides tax advisory services to a number of multi-national oil and gas companies. She is the national chairman of Deloitte Women in Leadership in South Africa and also serves on the board of Deloitte Africa. She heads up the national Tax Oil and Gas Industry group for Deloitte in South Africa and Western Cape. Anthea is also the leader of the Global Employer Services unit for Deloitte in the Western Cape region. She is the author of the comprehensive book on taxation, Pay Less Tax and the co-author of the book, Everyone’s Guide to the Tax Return.
