Saudization percentages announced for a new set of professions

On 3 April 2023, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) announced Saudization percentages for a new set of professions, effective 24 December 2023:

Sales Professions: Sales positions including Sales Manager, Sales Specialist, Sales Representative, Internal Sales Manager, Retails Manager, and Commercial Specialist are subject to 15% Saudization upon reaching a workforce of five employees.

Purchasing Professions: Purchasing positions, such as Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Representative, Contracts Manager, and Bids Specialist, will be subject to a Saudization percentage of 50% upon reaching a workforce of three employees.

Project Management Professions: Professions related to project management, such as Project Management Manager, Projects Manager, Project Management Specialist, and Business Projects Manager, will be subject to a Saudization percentage of 35% upon reaching a workforce of five employees.
