Michael Towler

Michael is based in Deloitte’s UAE offices supporting the indirect tax team on VAT implementations, Post VAT implementation reviews and VAT advisory projects. Before this, Michael was an Indirect Tax Partner with Deloitte Australia and has over 30 years of experience in the UK, Australian and GCC VAT systems.

Michael commenced his career with the Customs Authority in the UK and was in Australia during the GST (VAT equivalent) implementation phase. He has provided a range of customs and VAT advisory services to clients in all areas and his extensive experience allows him to provide practical and clear advice on indirect tax  management within organizations.
