Module 2: Communication skills required for effective meeting
management
- The life of a board-level leader;
- Typical board meeting topics and discussion style;
- Video case study (own production): smooth communication on the Board. The 45-minute-long video is cut into 6 pieces and shown during the day with interactive discussion;
- Effective communication with seniors: The “BIG 5” we want and how to do that. BIG 5: approval, decision, FYI, support, advice. Role-play each of the 5;
- Presentation to the Board. Impactful but without the fuzz. (Preparation before the training by participants: 3-minute presentations);
- Real-life case studies from the past: successful proposals, approved by the Board;
- Lobby-ing;
- Adjusting communication style to the CEO, President, or MD style.
