We are delighted to introduce the seventh edition of Business Outlook in Azerbaijan, a macroeconomics journal prepared by Deloitte Azerbaijan. Within this publication, we have analyzed the key macroeconomic indicators that have enabled us to identify the prevailing trends and challenges of Azerbaijani economy.
We have also polled leaders across many industries to complete "Human Capital Trends" survey that aims to capture the emerging human resources tendencies in Azerbaijan.By exploring the evolving landscape of human capital, we intend to shed light on the current situation and prospects for the workforce in Azerbaijan.
We believe that the insights and analysis presented in this edition will contribute to the comprehension of the country’s economic landscape and provide valuable guidance for businesses.

These opinions of respondents have enabled us to identify major concerns, key drivers and development priorities for the Azerbaijani economy. In addition, a complex analysis of main local trends and their comparison to Russia and Georgia helped reveal hidden business features and opportunities.
Deloitte Azerbaijan introduces a new publication, the macroeconomic journal Business Outlook in Azerbaijan.
In the current edition, Deloitte focuses on the key trends in the economy of Azerbaijan over the last 15 years and presents the main findings of their research conducted in August-September 2017 among the top management of the leading Azerbaijani companies.
One of the most significant conclusions of this survey is the optimistic business perception of the majority of the respondents: 79% assess the short-term outlook on their companies as positive.
