We celebrate International Women's Day every year on 8 March as another opportunity to engage our people to make a greater impact on our gender, diversity, and inclusion approach year-round.

We #ChooseToChallenge at Deloitte Belgium

We raise our hands up high on our “Wall of Choice”! From challenge comes change, so let's all #ChooseToChallenge. Deliberate actions such as allyship, mentorship, and inclusive leadership can be the catalyst for significant and lasting positive change. Seemingly small acts or commitments can empower us – or others - to achieve the extraordinary.

International Women's Day 2020

#EachForEqual

Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. One simple connection made at the right time can change the journey that we are all on together.

#EachforEqual represents how we can impact equal chances for all through our actions and thoughts. A small gesture can have a meaningful impact. We invited Deloitters to take a selfie and tell us about an action or a gesture that had a meaningful positive impact for them or for a colleague.

#BalanceForBetter

There is a strong call-to-action to progress gender parity. We are committed to #BalanceForBetter by motivating and uniting friends, colleagues, and whole communities to think, act, and be gender inclusive.

We hosted a breakast event at Deloitte Gateway featuring keynote speaker Hassan Al Hilou on the power of diversity and an expert panel who discussed three important topics: inclusive environment, women in leadership, and experience and exposure. This event was an important opportunity to hear directly from our people and to learn how we can #BalanceForBetter together.

#PressforProgress

At Deloitte Belgium, gender diversity is a priority. We aim to achieve a threefold increase in female partners by 2030. To meet this objective, we’ve drawn up an extensive action plan ranging from recruitment to evaluation procedures that pays greater attention to the differences between men and women. There's a strong call to #PressforProgress to motivate and unite friends, colleagues, and whole communities to think, act, and be gender inclusive.
