Marcio Albuquerque Cavalcanti

Marcio is an Audit partner, based in the São Paulo, Brazil office – his career at Deloitte began in 2005 and he currently works as a specialist in the Technology industry.

He has more than 10 years of experience in integrated and non-integrated audits of financial statements for clients in the technology, consumer business and manufacturing sectors, under both BRGAAP/IFRS and USGAAP.

From 2010 to 2012 he worked at Deloitte USA, mainly serving SEC-registered clients in the technology industry. Over this period, he obtained solid training in accounting practices specific to this sector, such as recognizing software revenue, arranging multiple elements and revenue from clicks and display in search engines.
