Meet our leadership team in Switzerland
Simon Owen, CEO of Deloitte Switzerland, Member of the Board of Directors and Management Committee
Simon is the CEO for Deloitte Switzerland, which is one of the fastest growing member firms within Deloitte’s global network, providing audit and advisory services to national and global clients in Switzerland.
Simon has held many senior client-facing roles and is passionate about serving clients. In his role as CEO, he gives particular emphasis to encouraging innovative offerings that solve our clients’ most complex issues as well as connecting member firms across the Deloitte network to serve clients globally. He is also an advocate of Deloitte’s diversity programme, working with a number of private organisations in Switzerland on this increasingly important topic.
He has been with Deloitte for nearly 20 years, over 15 of these as a Partner. Prior to joining Deloitte, Simon spent seven years working in the banking sector. His technical specialisms are risk, governance, compliance and other control-related matters. He has previously held leadership roles relating to Innovation and Risk Advisory, and is a member of the Deloitte North West EuropeExecutive.
Simon is an alumnus of Warwick (MBA), Royal Holloway (MSc) and Kingston (BA).
Reto Savoia, Deputy CEO and Managing Partner, Clients & Industries
Reto is the Deputy CEO for Deloitte Switzerland and the Managing Partner for Clients & Industries. Reto helps lead the firm’s strong expansion in the Swiss market and connect Deloitte’s capabilities with its clients to help solve their complex issues.
A Swiss international and corporate tax specialist, Reto has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of cross-border structuring, M&A and business reorganisations.
Reto currently also serves as a member of the Deloitte North West Europe (NWE) Board and represents the firm in various business associations including economiesuisse and ExpertSuisse. He holds master’s degrees in business administration and law from the University of St. Gallen.
Bjørnar Jensen, Managing Partner, Consulting
Bjørnar is the Managing Partner, Consulting for Deloitte's Swiss practice.
Since joining Deloitte following its acquisition of Monitor in 2011, Bjørnar has worked on growth and innovation projects across a range of industries. As Lead Client Service Partner, he has led Deloitte’s relationship with one of the world's top three consumer care companies as well as one of the pre-eminent food and beverage companies. In Switzerland, he also looks after the technology, media and telecom (TMT) sector, with particular emphasis on service innovation.
Bjørnar is a member of Deloitte’s EMEA Consulting leadership, and is a regular commentator in Swiss media on issues relating to innovation and competitiveness.
Nic Carrington, Managing Partner, Financial Advisory
Nic is the Managing Partner for Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice in Switzerland and a member of the Swiss leadership team. Nic specialises in forensic advisory, financial crime, fraud and corruption investigations. He advises on cases involving white-collar crime and corruption, including FCPA-related matters, anti-money laundering compliance and investigations, procurement fraud, conflicts of interest issues and accounting irregularities. Nic is a Qualified Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Jackie Hess, Managing Partner, Tax & Legal
Jackie is the Managing Partner for Tax & Legal and a member of Deloitte’s Swiss Executive team. She has more than 20 years of experience serving some of Deloitte’s largest multinational clients. Her specialist areas include business model optimisation in the BEPS era, Swiss ruling and tax holiday negotiations, tax controversy, and audit defence. In addition, she has extensive experience in cross-border tax planning including substance reviews, IP structuring, and finance planning. Jackie’s industry specialism is life sciences, and she advises predominately US-listed biotech and medtech companies that have their European headquarters in Switzerland.
Sven Probst, Managing Partner, Risk Advisory
Sven is the Managing Partner for the Risk Advisory business in Switzerland and a member of the Swiss Executive team. Having started his career as a banker, he has provided advice and assurance services to the industry for over 20 years. Sven has extensive experience and expertise in governance and control, regulatory issues, investigations, payments and sanctions, project management, IT and cyber risk. Previously, he was the CEO of an IT services provider.
Anna Samanta, Managing Partner, Talent
Anna is the Managing Partner for Talent and a member of the Swiss Executive team. Anna also leads our Integration and Separation Advisory team in Zurich. She joined Deloitte in 2005, and has more than fifteen years’ experience providing advice and support to senior management in planning and delivering complex cross-border integrations and operational carve-outs. She is an experienced merger integration advisor and programme manager with significant international experience, having advised on more than 30 large-scale deals.
Nick Davies, Chief Operating Officer
Nick is the Chief Operating Officer for Deloitte Switzerland. He has been with Deloitte since 1996, after beginning his career in the financial services industry. He was the Managing Partner for Consulting from 2011 to2016, where he led the business through a period of unprecedented growth. He has worked primarily on technology projects ranging from the strategic to those requiring complex international implementation. Nick has worked closely with the Swiss practice since 1999 and moved to Switzerland in 2007.
Anna Celner, Managing Partner, International
Anna is Managing Partner of International Relations, responsible for bringing the best of the Deloitte global network to Swiss clients and taking a leading role in managing global relationships for the Swiss firm. She is Vice Chairman at Deloitte UK and the Global Lead Client Service Partner for a major financial services organisation. She has been a member of the Swiss Executive team since 2010 and has more than 20 years of experience serving global financial services institutions in Europe and the US in the areas of strategy development, operating model design and implementation, profitability enhancement, and large transformational programmes focused on regulatory change, governance, risk, shared services, and outsourcing/offshoring.
Stuart Diack, Managing Partner Quality, Risk & Security, Member of the Management Committee
Stuart Diack has a cross-service line leadership role in quality and risk management at Deloitte Switzerland. He has extensive experience of the changing regulatory environments across Europe and the rest of the world. A UK Chartered Accountant and Licensed Audit Expert in Switzerland, Stuart is an audit professional by trade, and was previously a lead public policy, quality and risk partner in the UK firm’s audit practice. Stuart has more than 20 years’ professional experience with the firm.
Karine Szegedi, Managing Partner, Deloitte Private
Karine leads Deloitte Private in Switzerland and is a member of the Swiss Executive team. She is an Audit Partner and Swiss Licenced Audit Expert with over 20 years of experience in the areas of consumer business, retail, hospitality and life sciences. Karine also leads the fashion and luxury sector group, with a particular focus on the watch industry.
Vicky Levy, Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry Leader
Vicky leads the Life Sciences and Healthcare practice in Switzerland. As a 20-year life sciences consulting veteran, Vicky brings a wealth of global experience to our clients in Switzerland. Her area of expertise is in end-to-end commercial transformation. Over the years and together with her clients, she has designed and implemented multiple global commercial transformation programmes for a number of Fortune 100 life sciences companies. These transformation programmes range from commercial excellence to enterprise-wide customer centricity, to digital excellence. She also has extensive knowledge of therapy issues across the specialty and primary care sector. She joined Deloitte following the acquisition of Monitor in 2011, where she held various leadership roles in client services and client relationships, and was a member of the Global Executive team.
Adam Stanford, Financial Services Industry Leader
Adam leads Deloitte’s Swiss Financial Services Industry practice. Previously and since joining Deloitte in 2008, Adam led the Swiss Consulting Financial Services practice and the Swiss Consulting Strategy & Operations practice. Adam started his career in private banking in Switzerland and was the global COO of a listed fintech company. During his career in banking and professional services, Adam has accumulated over 28 years of experience advising senior executives and boards on areas such as restructuring, post-merger integration, business strategy development and operating model design. Adam serves strategic accounts in Switzerland and globally as Lead Client Service Partner and Lead Consulting Partner and regularly contributes to Swiss media in areas concerning the financial services industry and innovation.
Konstantin von Radowitz, Consumer & Industrial Products Industry Leader
Konstantin is an experienced Financial Advisory Partner who leads Deloitte’s Swiss Consumer & Industrial Products practice. He also leads the M&A Transaction Services group. With over 20 years of experience, he has focused on serving industrial organisations in the domestic market and internationally. His extensive expertise includes transformation projects as well as complex M&A transactions through the entire deal cycle, from inception to integration.
