David Violi

David is a Director for the Risk and Regulatory Assurance team and a Swiss attorney-at-law. He has more than 18 years of professional experience in the Swiss financial services industry. His expertise encompasses financial services and financial institution regulations, banking and asset-management, anti-money laundering, data protection, digitalisation/fintech and blockchain, as well as ESG regulations. David helps banks and other financial intermediaries obtain FINMA’s authorization, implement regulatory changes and ensure compliance. He also support them for their contractual and commercial matters. Prior to joining Deloitte, David has been working for top-tier law firms, for FINMA’s Enforcement, in the Compliance management team of a large cantonal bank and in leading positions with international audit firms.
