Michael Horwat

Michael is a Director in the Transaction Services team with almost 15 years of experience in Financial Advisory.

Michael held posts in Vienna, London and Zurich. He has supported both corporate and PE clients in executing complex buy- and sell-side M&A transactions. He has also gained significant experience in restructuring work, both assisting clients in financial restructuring work and in supporting lending banks.

Michael qualified as a Public Accountant (“Wirtschaftsprüfer”) and Tax Advisor (“Steuerberater”) in Austria and is a CFA charterholder. Michael is an Austrian citizen and is fluent in German and English.
