Michelle Hug-Fahrni

Michelle Hug-Fahrni joined Deloitte Switzerland Tax & Legal in November 2019 as a Partner in the Global Employer Services (GES) team and has been a member of the Board of Directors since September 2021. Michelle joined from another Big Four with more than 13 years industry experience especially in the field of financial services. She is part of the Zurich leadership team with 50+ professionals and supports mobility/HR functions at clients with international workforce topics.

She has extensive experience in managing global mobility programmes for large multinational companies but also mid-sized companies and covers topics such as such tax return compliance and consulting (e.g. equity taxation, severance payments), white glove services for senior executives, business traveler risk, social security and pension compliance/advisory and payroll assistance. Michelle holds a Federal Diploma in Business Administration (BBA hons and thesis with summa cum laude) an additional Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Financial Consulting and is a Certified Swiss Tax Expert.
