Deloitte/CPA Australia co-branded webinar: New Limited Partnership Fund Regime

Deloitte and CPA Australia held a webinar on Hong Kong's limited partnership fund (LPF) regime on 12 August 2020. Hong Kong Investment Management Sector Leader/Tax Partner Anthony Lau, Tax Director Roy Phan and Assurance Director Wilson Cheung from Deloitte China together with Anson Law from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority shared the latest development of the Hong Kong PE/VC fund market, including the LPF regime, unified fund tax exemption regime and Securities and Futures Commission licensing requirement, at the webinar.

More than 300 participants heard this quartet of thought leaders share the benefits of establishing a LPF in HK, and discussed the bright future of HK's PE/VC sector after the introduction of the regime.
