Growth at Risk Advisory

Our journey of growth

When you join Risk Advisory, you will receive solid professional designation support from the firm to become Certified Public Accountants, Certified Internal Auditors, Certified Information Systems Auditors or Certified Information System Security professional, etc.

Today, Deloitte China Risk Advisory operates in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Nanjing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. We not only grew with the market, but also took lead in defining and transforming the industry. From the very beginning, our Risk Advisory partner worked closely with CICSC (China Internal Control Standards Committee) in shaping the control framework and regulations. Our journey of growth brought us advanced tools and methodologies recognised by our client and the market.

To this end, we host the Deloitte China Risk Intelligence Recognition Awards with the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University on an annual basis, aiming to provide a platform for high-level exchange of risk management experiences and to encourage continued improvement of risk management among Chinese enterprises.

Defining and growing with the market

As a new joiner, you can be sure of instant exposure to a variety of clients and issues based on your previous experiences. At the same time, you will be supported by our 1,000 professionals in acquiring professional qualifications and other core competencies tailored to your personal and professional needs.

At Deloitte, growth is always based on your capability and development wishes. At the senior level, you begin to focus your efforts in one or several of the service offerings within your function and start to build your professional reputation, as well as attaining further professional qualifications where needed.

As a manager, you will start to specialise in a particular industry and/or market segment, while taking up more managerial responsibilities. Your expertise and broad-based management skills will be further developed at the associate director level as you master increasingly complex business issues and engagement management challenges, all of which get you well prepared for the next role as director and eventually partner of the business.

As a director or partner, you will drive growth by developing long-term profitable relationships with high value clients. At the same time, you will be accountable for client relationships with key teams and exercising appropriate risk management practices. Moreover, your team members will look up to you for coaching, leadership and inspiration.
