Life Sciences & Health Care Tax Hot Topics Seminar Invitation

16 October 2020 | Shanghai

With the advance of the new medical reform, the PRC central government and local governments have introduced some industry-specific support and encouraging policies including tax incentives. Among them, the new policy of the Hainan Free Trade Port has aroused heated discussions in the industry. How to effectively utilize the relevant policies to maximize the incentives, and at the same time, to reduce the tax costs while meeting the group's business strategy by optimizing the supply chain is a significant issue that the enterprises need to consider.

Deloitte will host a seminar on Oct.16th in Shanghai, which will start by introducing the core medical reform policies, focus on the impact of medical reform on the Life Sciences & Health Care industry from the aspects of PRC taxation, customs and foreign exchange control, and discuss overall tax optimization for Life Sciences & Health Care enterprises against the backdrop of governments' support and encouraging policies. To this end, we have invited government officials from Hainan province to take a deep dive into the Master Plan for the Construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, and tax and customs experts from Deloitte China will share their insights on the above mentioned topics.
