CEO Roundtable at China Petroleum and Chemical International Conference (CPCIC) 2014

Organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) and Tianjin municipal government, the China Petroleum and Chemical International Conference (CPCIC) 2014 convened under the theme "The Petroleum & Chemical Industry in the next 10 years: Global trend & China opportunity".

Deloitte's participation at CPCIC

As a long-term strategic partner with CPCIF, Deloitte was nominated as the sole Project Advisor to CPCIF for their research study on “The Petroleum & Chemical Industry in the next 10 years: Leading multinationals’ insights on global trend & China opportunity", which was released by CPCIF in September 2014 with findings that will be used as input to elaborate the 13th Five-Year-Plan for China's Petroleum and Chemical Industry.

Deloitte was also co-sponsoring the CEO Round table at CPCIC on 11 September during which, Duane Dickson, Deloitte Global Chemical Group Leader, and Yann Cohen, Deloitte Asia Pacific Chemical Group Leader, participated and contributed in the discussions on global feedstock revolution and global petrochemical investment relocation. Other senior professionals from Deloitte Consulting participated via speeches and panel discussions in various working streams such as advanced material systems in lightweight vehicles and bio-based materials etc.

CPCIC has been known as the largest and most influential international Chemical Industry conference in China since 2010. CPCIC 2014 has brought together industry leaders and decision makers from the global chemical industry in China to discuss topics such as global petrochemical investment relocation, global chemical market and industry trends, chemical merger and acquisition outlook, chemical & material developments in applied applications such as lightweight vehicle and green city etc. This year's conference has attracted participants from global majors (including BASF, Dow Chemical, Bayer, SABIC, DSM, Solvay, LG Chem and Mitsubishi Chemical) and domestic champions (including CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC, Shenhua Group, SinoChem and ChemChina).
