Deloitte University campus inaugurated in Beijing, dedicated to nurturing world-class talent

DU AP China, an international leadership development campus invested by Deloitte China was inaugurated today in Huairou District, Beijing. Leaders from Beijing Municipal Government, SASAC, CICPA and Huairou District as well as guests from Deloitte clients and ecosystem alliances joined the ceremony together with Deloitte China Chair Vivian Jiang, Deloitte China CEO Patrick Tsang, Deloitte Asia Pacific delegates, and Deloitte partners and talent representatives.

Deloitte China has invested in establishing in Deloitte University (DU) China, which is the first fully integrated campus in Asia Pacific. DU AP China integrates holistic development into world-class programs and unique experiences for Deloitte talent, clients and alliance partners. These Distinctly Deloitte experiences are focused on career development, professional competence and leadership, furthering the exploration of industry trends and emerging technologies. DU AP China also provides digital and immersive engagement for its talent, entrepreneurs and leaders to be future-ready, empowering individuals and organizations in delivering impact as the undisputed leader in the marketplace.

Beijing Municipal Government leaders expressed their appreciation for Deloitte China's long-term commitment to the economic and social development of Beijing and its world-class business environment. They hoped that DU AP China would become a new window for international talent exchange and provide support in building Beijing into a centre for international exchanges, empower the high-quality development of the economy with globally connected training resources, and also contribute Chinese wisdom to international talent development.

Located at the foot of the Great Wall and nearby Yanqi Lake, DU AP China is a campus of the future that has obtained leading international certification of smart and green building. With a total construction area of 16,000 square meters, the campus has a three-floor main building with over 40 multi-functional classrooms, and a hotel with more than 140 rooms. There is also a banquet hall, innovation spaces and dining rooms in the campus. In normal operation, the campus can accommodate 20,000 learners per year.

At today's inauguration ceremony, Deloitte experts and the guests held a forum on international leadership development and launched a flagship learning course of the Global Leaders Training Camp for Chinese enterprises going global.
