"Enterprise Risk Services" changes its name to "Risk Advisory"

Deloitte China announces that the name of its Enterprise Risk Services practice will be changed to "Risk Advisory", effective 1 October 2016.

The name "Enterprise Risk Services" has remained as the trademark for Deloitte's risk advisory services in China over the past two decades since its launch in the late 1990s. It witnessed the adventure that the risk practitioners have been through together: Growing from a small, single office team in Hong Kong to the current strong practice of 1,200 professionals, spread across 18 offices within our network in Greater China. Deloitte's Risk Advisory team ("the team") emerged from a predominantly audit-support group, to now a full-fledged advisory business committed to creating value for our clients, helping the most admired companies in the market to address complicated risk issues.

We take a uniquely distinctive point of view on risk that "Risk powers performance". The team believes that risk is also a creator of value and, approached in the right way, can play a unique role in driving business performance. Successful companies in the world leverage on risk to fuel the best performance among their peers.

The new name "Risk Advisory" better reflects the risk practitioners' competencies, provide clarity in the marketplace, and will help unify the practice identity around the globe under a common banner.

With the name change, our risk practitioners will continue to advise our clients, deploying our state-of-the-art solutions, to create value out of their risks.
