2016/17 Deloitte China Tax Conference

Our Journey: a decade and forward to reshape our future

A decade has elapsed since Deloitte China Tax embarked on this journey with you. Not for a single moment had we ever lost sight of the purpose for which we began this endeavor in the first place.

When Deloitte launched the inaugural China Tax Conference in 2006, we had a vision to build a platform for subject matter experts to explore the most discussed topics in tax and business arena, and to share real cases and practical experience. Treading the path for ten years with your strong support and active participation, the China Tax Conference has established itself as a signature platform where reflections on regulatory development, anticipation of market outlook, insights into technical matters and experience from practical cases are integrated and shared.

The journey of Deloitte China Tax Conference over the past decade has been against the backdrop of unprecedented changes in the tax legislation and administration landscape both in China and around the world. It has also been a journey where enterprises with business operations in China tackled the challenges and grasped the opportunities. During the past ten years, China has continuously intensified the fiscal and tax reform, and has been playing an increasingly active role in reshaping the international taxation rules. In 2016, some of the most significant developments include the roll-out of VAT Reform, the localization and implementation of the BEPS action plans in the special tax adjustments area, the upcoming adoption of the Standard for Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (AEOI), just name a few. Meanwhile, the tax authorities are increasingly relying on data analytics and other emerging technologies for tax administration purposes. As we march into 2017, we are committed to continuing on this journey with you and assisting you in taking on the challenges ahead of us. We look forward to supporting you as you grow your business, optimize your business models, ensure compliance obligations, and manage tax exposure in an effective manner.

Celebrating this remarkable milestone of our shared journey for over a decade, we cordially invite you to attend our 2016/17 China Tax Conference to be held in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Chongqing and Shenzhen:
