Online sales to Europe – will you be compliant with the new VAT rules in Europe on 1 January 2021?
7 August 2020 | Zoom Webinar
Chinese companies are increasingly selling via online marketplaces in foreign markets, particularly Europe. And there are critical regulatory changes being introduced which have both an impact on operations as well as the tax compliance of the selling company.
For Indirect Tax, since 2018, some European countries have announced new rules for the enforcement on VAT collection for B2C sales. The small value import relief will also undergo changes in 2021. For Direct Tax, the new rules for digital permanent establishments are on the horizon as well.
The new rules will significantly impact all Chinese sellers into the EU. As the tax policy landscape will undergo a major transformation, while much remains uncertain, CEOs must take proactive steps to prepare their businesses wherever possible.
In this webinar, we will address the following urgent questions:
- What exactly are the different rules and regulations?
- What do you need to do to ensure compliance and what if you are not?
- What operational impact do ecommerce businesses need to think about?
