Danny Tong is Deloitte China National Financial Advisory M&A Advisory Leader. He worked in our offices in Hong Kong and Tokyo before stationing in our Shanghai office from 2002.
Experience
He has 30 years of mergers and acquisitions experience in Asia. The projects he handled span across Asia including China mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and South East Asia. He worked in our Tokyo office between 2000 and 2002 and was responsible for handling cross-border M&A transactions in Japan for our clients. Danny has extensive experience in M&A and fund raising advisory, investment and deal structuring, due diligence, business valuations, debt restructuring, and other financial advisory work. He has extensive experience in industries of automotive, F&B, FMCG, traditional and new retail, logistics, real estates, manufacturing and utilities.
Professional qualifications, affiliations, accomplishments
Danny holds a Master Degree of Business Administration of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) of the University of Hong Kong. He is also a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the U.K., the CPA Australia and the Hong Kong Institute of Securities. He was a past President of the East & Central China Committee of CPA Australia in 2013 and 2014, and has been an exco member of it since 2008.
