Jimmy Chan

Mr. Jimmy Chan is a partner of the Corporate Financial Advisory Services and the National Markets & Network (M&N) Leader for Financial Advisory Services.  He also leads the Financial Services and Life Science sectors for Financial Advisory Services.

Based in Beijing, Mr. Chan has many years of experience in advising domestic and foreign clients on mergers and acquisitions, private fund raisings and restructurings. He has significant corporate finance experience in infrastructure, real estate, retailing and financial services.

Before re-joining Deloitte in 2015, Mr. Chan was Chief Executive Officer of Carrianna Group, a real estate developer listed in Hong Kong, and Chief Executive Officer of Value Partners Group, the largest hedge fund manager in Asia.

Previously Mr. Chan was Chief Executive, Northern China of Kailongrei, an international real estate investment and management firm in China. He was also a founding member of Deloitte China’s corporate finance practice and built its Financial Advisory Practice in Beijing.

Mr. Chan also served as the Vice Chairman of the Financial Services and Treasury of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association.
