Lapman Lee

Lapman is an Advisory Partner with a focus on Financial Services clients, high net worth individual families, their family businesses, and family offices. He is based on Hong Kong with an APAC focus.

Lapman is the China National Advisory Leader for Family Office / Family Enterprise Consulting.

He specializes in the areas of Governance, Controls & Risk Management (GRC), Investment Governance, M&A and Post-Merger Integration, Process Improvement, Tech & Innovation. Incl. FinTech.

Prior to Deloitte, he advised clients on Corporate Finance and M&A, Credit Ratings, and Financial Engineering/ Structured Finance as an investment banker.

He is a Co-Chair for InsurTech at the Hong Kong FinTech Association, Future Task Force member for FinTech at the HK Insurance Authority, the member of the Financial Market Committees of the British Chamber of Commerce and European Chamber of Commerce, and an Honorary Fellow of the Asian Institute of International Financial Law of the University of Hong Kong.
 

Experience

Lapman advises HNW families with setting up or transforming their family offices from a governance/ people, policies and process, and technology perspective. This may include bringing best in class investment governance practices (PE/VC funds, sovereign wealth funds) to family offices.

He is also a mentor to start-ups and advises clients – financial institutions and other corporations on innovation, incl. regulators.
