Lawrence Chen

Mr. Chen Bo (Lawrence) is a Partner of Deloitte China and Dean of Corporate Governance Center of Deloitte China. Prior to joining Deloitte, Lawrence was an Associate Professor of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law(ZUEL), and served as the Dean of the Audit Department.

Lawrence graduated from Wuhan University in 2006 with a doctorate degree in management. He accomplished the post doctoral research program at ZUEL.  He holds a professional qualification as a Certified Public Accountant both in China and Australia. In 2020, He was selected in the International High-end Talent Training Project of China MOF, and now adjunct professions of Beijing National Accounting Institute, China Agriculture University and Capital University of Economics and Business.

Lawrence is an expert in the fields of banking audit, corporate governance and government regulation. Over the years, he has provided training and consultation in relevant professional fields for government agencies, industry associations, large enterprises and institutions. The relevant training courses he lectures have been widely praised by the clients.

Lawrence has presided over or participated in major projects with the support from the National Social Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation, published two monographs and nearly 40 papers in domestic authoritative professional journals. As project leader, Lawrence has undertaken multiple key projects entrusted by the Ministry of Finance, the China Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the China Banking Association. Lawrence is the leading researcher of  flagship soft leadership works in financial services industry by Deloitte China.
