Tao Li has over 22 years of extensive experience in the field of digital-enabled process optimization and ERP implementation. Tao specialized in the Life Science industry by leading multiple ERP implementations, advisories and digital transformation engagements. Tao has deep experiences in process optimization by serving clients across multiple industries, including life science/ retail/ consumer/ manufacturing/ high-tech/ tobacco/ aeronautics/ energy/ publishing/ steel/ mining.

After joining Deloitte in 2012, Tao started his tenure by focusing the Steel, and energy sector, clients he served includes Tianjin Steel and Yangquan Coal. Afterward Tao worked on building Deloitte's Retail and Life Science team in SAP, Deloitte soon became the undisputed leader (UDL) in several retail subsectors, while building strong foundation in subsectors such as in alcoholic beverages, fashion, tobacco, and agriculture food. On top of his work in the retail sector, Tao built the Deloitte's Life Science in SAP practice from scratch, a team now has achieved UDL in drug, Chinese tradition medicines, and biopharma in China, serving leading clients including Tasly, Qilu Pharma, Kelun Pharma, Buchang Pharma, Hansoh Pharma, BeiGene, Everest Medicine, HPGC, ZBD Pharma and more.

Before joining Deloitte, Tao served as the director of steel and energy industry in the Greater China region for IDS, oversees industry related process optimization and SAP implementation engagements, Tao served clients including: Handan Steel, AnSteel, Ma'an Shan Steel, Taiyuan Steel Mining, AnSteel Mining, Western Mining and more.

Tao served various large scale State-Owned enterprises digital transformation projects, he worked with clients in various areas aside from digital, including corporate strategy, operation consulting, IT planning and operation optimizations.
