Wesley is Deloitte China Financial Advisory Deputy VC&C Advisory Leader. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in providing advice and solutions to the management and stakeholders of underperforming business in the greater China region.

Experience

During his past 20 years tenure with Deloitte, he has served a large portfolio of clients (including major international and local financial institutions, listed and non-listed entities, as well as State-Owned/linked and privately owned entities in China) in the area of formal and informal performance improvement and debt restructuring exercises, financial reviews and monitoring as well as other insolvency administration engagements such as receiverships, liquidations and special administrations, M&A, assets tracing and recovery for a wide range of industries.

Some of his recent (performance improvement, working capital management, restructuring and M&A) experiences include Norstar Founders Group/Beijing West Industries (Auto); Sheng Li Oil & Gas Piping (Manufacturing); Shaanxi Antai Group (Energy and Resources); Sinosteel (Manufacturing – Steel); China Machinery/Erzhong (Manufacturing); First Mobile (TMT); Yuen Heng Gas (Energy and Resources); Integrated Waste Solutions (Clean Energy).

He is one of the appointment takers of Firm, and is familiar with the procedures involved in seeking a relisting of shares of companies in financial difficulties and has experience in dealing with regulators in both HK and Mainland PRC (such as HK Stock Exchange, Securities and Futures Commission, CSRC etc in PRC).
