CEE Region Private Equity Report

The private equity market in Central and Eastern Europe continues on a path of recovery. Investors who have returned to the region have benefited from the growing economy and the fact that a number of significant exits took place in this region, with the Czech Republic playing a key role.

A total of 15 investments were realised in the private equity and venture capital area in the Czech Republic in 2016, which is three more than in 2015. The average deal value increased substantially, almost fivefold. According to the report from Deloitte and the Czech Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, the Czech Republic will continue to play a key role in private equity in the years to come.
