About the Academy

The German Next Generation CIO Academy was developed to best prepare you for the diverse tasks of a CIO and to support your next career step. We introduce you to the breadth and complexity of the CIO role:

  • Networking: Network with other German Next Generation CIO Academy participants and share experiences and thoughts.
  • CIO Fundamentals: Gain expertise on how successful CIOs manage their ever-changing role.
  • Stakeholder Expectations: Learn from stakeholder representatives such as the board and business what their expectations are for strong CIOs.
  • Career Planning: Gain insights into how to plan your career as a CIO. Renowned recruiters as well as CIOs provide practical advice on your path to the top.
  • Leadership and Communication: Communication skills and leadership qualities play an essential role. That's why we explore topics such as emotional intelligence, resilience, and business chemistry.

All this will be delivered in a combination of face-to-face and virtual events.

If you are interested in participating in our Next Generation CIO Academy, please fill out the registration form including a short bio.

For organizational reasons, such as the limitation to 24 participants, we reserve the right to review registrations.
