Following this, Klaus Gresbrand will share Deloitte Legal's view on AI.
The session will end with a discussion moderated by RSGI´s Yasmin Lambert, about the challenges and opportunities generative AI presents for in-house legal teams. How will it change the skills needed in the team and what can you do to prepare?

Arne Wittig
Arne Wittig joined Deloitte Legal in August 2021. With his experience and eminent expertise, he supports senior management in the finance industry in doing the right thing in significant decisions and transactions. An experienced lawyer, he has held senior roles in the legal department of Deutsche Bank and was most recently Group General Counsel at thyssenkrupp for many years. He has extensive knowledge and many years of experience in the fields of banking law and corporate governance, and has helped shape the profession of in-house counsel in Germany. With his numerous publications, his lectures, his participation in committees and associations, and as a lecturer at the University of Mainz, he actively and prominently contributes to the further development of business law and in particular banking law in Germany. Arne Wittig is a member of, i.a., the Commercial Law Committee of the German Bar Association, the Board of Trustees of the Banking Law Association and the editorial board of Wertpapier-Mitteilungen. He has international experience, also from working in New York for several years, and speaks German and English fluently.
