Annina Backhaus

After being admitted to the bar, Annina Backhaus joined  the Deloitte Legal office in Düsseldorf in 2015. Annina Backhaus is specialized in labor law and advises both national and international companies of various industries on all areas of individual and collective labor law. Besides rendering permanent advisory services in day-to-day labor law issues, she also assists in restructuring measures and accompanies clients throughout all stages of M&A transactions. Annina Backhaus studied law at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. During her legal studies she already in-depth focused on labor law. As part of her legal traineeship (Rechtsreferendariat) she gained further experience in the field of labor law i.a. at the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Düsseldorf Labor Court and the labor law department of Deloitte Legal in Düsseldorf. Annina speaks German and English.
