Francis Bellen

Francis Bellen is a partner in the Frankfurt office of Deloitte Legal and Co-Lead of the Dispute Resolution practice group. He has 24 years of experience in litigation and arbitration. His clients include national and international companies from a variety of industries, including banks and private equity houses.
He has particularly experience in commercial, trade and corporate law, cartel damages, post-M&A as well as banking and finance disputes. He represents regularly clients in courts (German state courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union) and in arbitration proceedings (e.g., under ICC - International Chamber of Commerce, DIS – Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit and UNCITRAL rules). Moreover, he frequently sits as arbitrator in domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
Before joining Deloitte Legal, he worked for other leading international law firms. Francis Bellen is listed, inter alia, by Handelsblatt and by The Best Lawyers since 2014 as one of Germany’s leading specialists for litigation and arbitration in Germany.
