Max F. W. Lüerßen

Max Lueerssen is a German qualified lawyer and provides legal advice in the field of corporate law and M&A. He advises clients with regard to corporate restructuring and M&A transactions as well as directors’ and officers’ liability (D&O). Max Lueerssen has experience in inheritance and gift law, particularly with regard to the structuring of company and asset successions. He provides legal consultancy to wealthy individuals relating to the preparation of disclosures of tax evasion and disclosure submissions, often with regard to legal structures such as foundations, funds, trusts, offshore companies and (false) life insurances. Prior to joining Deloitte Legal, Max Lueerssen worked several years for the legal branch of an international auditing and consulting firm. Max Lueerssen studied law in Muenster, Germany, and Freiburg, Germany, and completed his practical training in legal work (Referendariat) at the district court of Muenster, Germany.
