Rechtsanwalt Max Lüerßen is specialized in M&A and transactions, often in connection with private equity. He focuses on the legal support of mid-cap transactions, in particular in the area of entrepreneur-led companies in the IT and software industry. Mr. Lüerßen has extensive experience in executing complex transactions, from transaction structuring and due diligence to contract negotiation and closing.
Another focus of his work is advising on corporate law, particularly in connection with transaction preparation, post-merger integration (PMI) and the adaptation of corporate structures after transactions. He also advises on general corporate law matters, such as corporate restructuring or the liability of corporate bodies (D&O).
With his many years of expertise, Max Lüerßen has successfully advised numerous companies from various sectors on M&A processes and private equity transactions, always focusing on the practical implementation and long-term success of the transactions.
Max joined Deloitte Legal in 2015 after having worked for the legal practice of another Big4 audit and tax advisory firm for several years.
