Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion 2021 (Global)
Deloitte has once again been named a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion,” having received a top score of 100 percent on the Disability Equality Index® (DEI). The DEI is a unique, joint initiative of Disability:IN and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD). The most comprehensive benchmarking tool for disability inclusion in business, it allows leading corporations to self-report their disability inclusion policies and practices.
Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards 2021 (Global)
The Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards recognize organizations that have successfully developed and deployed effective learning programs that have achieved measurable results. In 2021, Deloitte was recognized with a total of 25 awards, including 12 gold awards across Consulting, Tax, and Risk & Advisory: Best Advance in Competencies and Skill Development; Best Advance in Creating a Learning Strategy; Best Advance in Learning Technology Implementation (2); Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program (4); Best Use of Blended Learning; Best Use of Games or Simulations for Learning (2); and Best Use of Mobile Learning.

Deloitte was recognized on the 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies list as one of the best workplaces for professionals to grow their careers and develop skills, lists include Australia (#24), Canada (#10), China (#9), Germany (#20), India (#6), Italy (#7), Japan (#5), Netherlands (#12), Spain (#5), UAE (#10), United Kingdom (#6), and the United States (#7). The list identifies companies who are investing in employee skills and growth—whether through training, advancement opportunities or connections. The methodology assesses seven elements of career progression: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity and educational background.

In Brand Finance's Global 500 2021 Deloitte is recognized as the strongest and most valuable “commercial services” brand in the world for the 3rd consecutive year, ranking ahead of all major professional services competitors. The accolade is testament to Deloitte’s collective resilience during the past unprecedented year, as we strived to respond, recover and thrive in this ever-evolving world. It is also a tribute to how Deloitte has been able to pivot to meet clients’ changing needs, deepened investment in areas of greatest opportunity (such as transformation, cyber, digital and cloud), and supported communities.
Fortune World's Best Workplaces 2020
Great Place to Work® and Fortune have recognized Deloitte as one of the World’s Best Workplaces™ for 2020. Ranked 22nd, the “World’s Best Workplaces™” list serves as a corporate trust index, measuring the behaviors that create a trusting and inclusive environment and culture. With a pool of more than 10,000 organizations participating in the survey process, only those with the highest marks on company values, leadership, management and people, and policies and practices are selected. Universum World’s Most Attractive Employers (Global)
For 12 consecutive years Deloitte has ranked on Universum’s “World’s Most Attractive Employer” list. In 2020, we maintained our top-five overall position in the Universum survey of undergraduate business students and were the #1 rated professional services organization. Universum’s “World’s Most Attractive Employer” list draws from a survey of more than 235,000 business and engineering students in the world’s 12 largest economies. Catalyst Award for advancing women in leadership
Catalyst, a leading global NGO focused on accelerating progress for women through workplace inclusion, has named Deloitte one of its three 2020 award winners – and the only professional services provider on the list. Deloitte is committed to advancing a diverse workforce, while ensuring that all its people thrive in an inclusive culture where they feel a sense of belonging and can grow. Accelerating gender diversity in leadership is a global priority – with a relentless focus on inclusion and interventions targeted at certain points of the career lifecycle. This is perhaps best illustrated by Deloitte Australia’s Inspiring Women program, which identifies and removes barriers to equality in the employee experience. From 2015 to 2019, representation of women on Deloitte Australia’s executive team increased from 15% to 38% and the percentage of female partners increased from 22% to 30%. Workplace Pride Global Benchmark 2020 Top Scorer (Global)
Deloitte was named the top rank of “Advocate” by the Workplace Pride’s 2020 annual Global Benchmark, scoring higher than 90% on the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark survey. The title of “Advocate” is given to organizations that are breaking new ground for LGBTI inclusion in their activities around the world and setting the tone for change beyond the workplace in society at large. Workplace Pride’s 2020 annual Global Benchmark names organizations who have shown outstanding performance, indicating true milestones for LGBTI inclusion in the workplace.
Australian Workplace Equity Index 2021
Deloitte has again been recognized as an employer of choice for LGBTI+ inclusion, achieving Gold Employer Status through the Pride in Diversity Annual Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) for 2021. The AWEI stands as the definitive national benchmark on LGBTI workplace inclusion and comprises the largest and only national employee survey designed to gauge the overall impact of inclusion initiatives on organizational culture as well as identifying and non-identifying employees. The Index drives best practice in Australia and sets a comparative benchmark for Australian employers across all sectors. This is the eighth year Deloitte has participated in the Index, having received Gold in 2020 & 2018, Silver in 2019, and Bronze for 2014-2017.
2021 Hong Kong LGBT+ Inclusion Index – Bronze Standard (China)
Deloitte earned a Bronze recognition in the Hong Kong LGBT+ Inclusion Index. This index is the first benchmark on LGBT+ workplace inclusion practices and initiatives in Asia. Introduced by Community Business for the first time in 2015, this pioneering initiative provides organizations in Hong Kong with a credible and robust tool to assess, progress and promote their efforts towards LGBT+ inclusion.
Financial Times Diversity Leaders special report (Europe)
Deloitte was named as one of the top 800 companies in the Financial Times’ Diversity Leaders special report. The Financial Times assesses 850 employers via a survey of more than 100,000 employees from 15,000 companies. The survey assesses employees’ perception of companies’ inclusiveness or efforts to promote various aspects of diversity. These include gender balance, openness to all forms of sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, disability and age.
Top Employers Brazil 2021
Deloitte Brazil received the Top Employer Brazil certification for the 10th consecutive year. As the global authority on excellence in people practices, the Top Employers Institute is committed to bringing greater impact to talent strategies and building better workplace environments. Certified organizations must undergo a stringent research process and meet the required standards to achieve certification. The comprehensive assessment covers 10 key areas: talent strategy, workforce planning, on-boarding, learning & development, performance management, leadership development, career & succession management, compensation & benefits and culture.
Forbes Canada's Best Employers 2021
Deloitte has been named in Canada's Best Employers 2021 list. Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to compile the ranking, by surveying more than 8,000 Canadians working for businesses with at least 500 employees. Participants were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. The list ranks the top 300 employers in Canada.
HRC Equidad CL: Best Place to Work for the LGBT Community / 100% Global Workplace Equality Index 2021 (Chile)
For the third year in a row, Deloitte earned the title of “Best Place to Work for the LGBT Community” and 100% score on the Global Workplace Equality Index. The annual report HRC Equidad CL, documents organizations’ participation in the survey, highlighting the best scores and the certification of "Best Places to Work for LGBT Community”. The survey assesses businesses and multinational companies based on three core pillars of LGBT inclusion: Adoption of non-discrimination policies; Creation of employee resource groups or diversity councils; and Engagement in public activities to support LGBT inclusion.
Top Employers China 2021
Deloitte China received the Top Employer in China certification for the 15th consecutive year, and attained a top three position for the first time. HRC Equidad MX: Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality / 100% Global Workplace Equality Index 2021 (Mexico)
Deloitte was again awarded “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality” and 100% score on the Global Workplace Equality Index for the second consecutive year. The HRC Equidad MX program is modeled after HRC’s Corporate Equality Index -- the premier LGBTQ workplace equality benchmarking survey in the U.S. Top-scoring companies earn the HRC Foundation’s designation of “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality” or “Mejores Lugares para Trabajar LGBT” for their commitment to creating inclusive workplaces for LGBT employees.
Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality / 100% on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index (US)
Deloitte earned top marks (100%) on the 2021 Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index for the 15th consecutive year in the US making Deloitte a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” HRC's criteria for earning a perfect score includes a rigorous assessment of an organization's policies and practices which fall under four central pillars: non-discrimination workplace protections, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ professionals and their families, supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
Fortune’s Best Big Companies 2021 (US)
Deloitte ranked #7 on the Fortune Best Big Companies to Work For™ list in 2021. The list is determined by using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback on their company culture. Companies were only considered if they had been a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization and had at least 100,000 employees. Deloitte ranked on a number of Fortune’s Best Places to Work lists in the US, see more of our US list recognition here.
2020 MERCO University Talent Ranking (Spain)
Deloitte appears on the MERCO University Talent Ranking at #21- and is the leading professional services firm - recognizing the 100 best companies to work for according to university students. Merco (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor) is the corporate monitor reference in Latin America that has been evaluating the reputation of companies since 2000, with eight lists and a presence in more than fifteen countries.
Fortune Best Workplaces for Women (US)
Deloitte has been named as one of Fortune’s Best Workplaces for Women™ in 2020. This is the fourth year that Fortune has released a list of top workplaces for women, and Deloitte has been recognized on all four lists. The annual ranking conducted by Great Place to Work and Fortune recognizes organizations that stand apart from their peers in creating a workplace that goes above and beyond for their female employees. The majority of the ranking is based on what women themselves report in a 60-question survey about their workplace, and how fairly their experiences compare to men’s reports of the same workplaces.
Best Workplaces for Women (Brazil)
Deloitte has been named as one of Best Workplaces for Women™ in 2020. The annual ranking conducted by Great Place to Work recognizes organizations that stand apart from their peers in creating a workplace that goes above and beyond for their female employees. Besides being recognized as one of Best Workplaces for Women in Brazil, Deloitte was among 35 major organizations operating in the country with the best practices and programs for women. GPTW is a global institute present in more than 45 countries that analyzes the views of professionals in relation to the companies in which they work.
Work with Pride - Gold Award 2020 (Japan)
Deloitte Japan has won the Pride Index Gold Award for 3 consecutive years. The Pride Index is a guideline to measure LGBT+ initiatives at work. The Pride Index is comprised of 5 indicators: 1. Policy (declaration of action); 2. Representation (LGBT community); 3. Inspiration (activities to raise awareness); 4. Development (HR system/ program); and 5. Engagement/Empowerment (social contribution, public relation activities). Deloitte met all 5 factors and was awarded gold status.
UN Women Asia-Pacific Women Empowerment Principles - Gender Inclusive Workplace Award 2020 (Malaysia)
The UN Women Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards is the first regional awards initiative that recognizes companies who are taking action on gender equality, aligned to the UN’s Women’s Empowerment Principles, with the ultimate objective to make good practices visible and encourage more business to take action. After a competitive selection process with more than 400 qualifying applications from 17 countries, and 18 companies, Deloitte Malaysia was recognized as Winner for Gender Inclusive Workplace in Malaysia and 1st runner up, Gender Inclusive Workplace for the Regional List.
Fortune 100 Best Companies (US)
Fortune's annual "100 Best Companies to Work For" list is the premier employer brand evaluation in the United States. The list of the 100 Best Companies is based on employee surveys that evaluate their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, their daily experiences of the company's values, people's ability to contribute new ideas, and the effectiveness of their leaders. 2020 marks our 21st year on this list!
National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) Top Companies for Executive Women (US)
Deloitte has been recognized for the fourth time as one of the Top Companies for Executive Women by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE). The NAFE Top Companies list honors companies that support female representation at all levels, but especially the corporate officer and profit-and-loss leadership ranks. They also factor in access and usage of programs and policies that promote the advancement of women, as well as training and accountability for women’s advancement.
OpenWork Top Companies (Japan)
Every year, OpenWork releases a list of the top companies in Japan with the happiest workers. People vote on eight categories: Salary satisfaction, employee morale, ease of communication between colleagues, respect amongst colleagues, opportunities for young employees, training and growth in the long term, a sense of compliance with the law, and HR department rating. They also asked about things like work/life balance, work culture, and how easy it is for women to work there.
StepStone Best places to work in Germany
Deloitte has been recognized as one of the Best places to work in Germany - 2020 by StepStone. Deloitte is the only professional services firm ranked in the Top 10 among other leading employers in Germany. Employers are evaluated on feedback that current and former employees have shared in key areas including culture, training & development, career progression and work-life-balance. The result is based on the analysis of more than 1.1 million data points.
Times Top 50 for Women (UK)
Deloitte has been recognized by Business in the Community (BITC) as one of the top 50 employers for women in the UK for the fourth consecutive year. The Times Top 50 Employers for Women is the UK’s most highly profiled and well-established listing of employers leading the way on workplace gender equality. These employers make gender equality part of their business strategy at all levels.
Working Mother 100 Best Companies (US)
Deloitte has been named one of Working Mother’s “100 Best Companies” for the 27th time in 2020. While Working Mother does not rank companies in order, they do honor their "Top 10" organizations, and Deloitte made the “Top 10” for the 12th consecutive time in 2020. This list recognizes companies that support working families via policies and programs that help all employees balance work and family. They measure a company's progress by focusing on inclusive benefits for families—gender-neutral parental leave, child care, and flexibility options—to determine the "100 Best" each year.
Workplace Gender Equality Employer of Choice (Australia)
Deloitte has achieved the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Women citation every year since 2003. The citation is designed to encourage, recognize and promote active commitment to achieving gender equality in Australian workplaces. Criteria for the citation cover leadership, learning and development, gender remuneration gaps, flexible working and other initiatives to support family responsibilities, employee consultation, preventing sex-based harassment and discrimination, and targets for improving gender equality outcomes.
