Deloitte named a Leader in Worldwide Discovery Services by IDC MarketScape
NEW YORK, NY, USA, 25 March 2021—Deloitte has been named a Worldwide Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide eDiscovery Services 2021 Vendor Assessment (doc #US46838220, February 2021). The IDC MarketScape recognizes Deloitte as a Leader based on capabilities and strategies such as remote review capabilities, investigation capabilities, cybersecurity, data management and customer service.
According to the IDC MarketScape, “To be included in this IDC MarketScape study, vendors must have at least $100 million in yearly revenue related specifically to eDiscovery services. Vendors must also provide managed review, second request services, and managed software seat services.”
“Deloitte’s eDiscovery services provide clients with flexible, secure, and scalable end-to-end solutions on a shared platform and alliance ecosystem. Deloitte has a network of 1400 professional operating across 150 countries and supported by over 36 delivery centers ready to meet any client need,” says Benny Lee, eDiscovery and Data Management leader, Deloitte Asia Pacific.
Deloitte also attributes its position as a leader in the report with the innovative solutions that it drives across its platform. “We believe that Deloitte’s data management capabilities provide real value to the legal function and the larger c-suite beyond the crisis scenario requiring the initial eDiscovery service,” adds Lee.
“This in turn has positioned us as trusted advisor to clients, many of whom we have long-term managed service relationships,” adds Jessica Anderson, Discovery and Data Management leader, Deloitte US. “This is particularly true of the Legal Department, which is going through a transformation cycle to better meet the operational challenges of today’s rapidly changing legal and regulatory landscape.”
- “Deloitte leverages technology quality and does so in a global fashion leveraging datacenters and cloud architecture in every region to provide significant scale. Deloitte has a strong focus on forensics capabilities to provide detailed investigatory capabilities.”
- “Deloitte has invested significantly in becoming a contributor for the entire corporate legal department and not just providing eDiscovery services. Deloitte leverages its large crop of eDiscovery subject matter experts to use eDiscovery tools to solve other problems.”
- “Deloitte is positioning itself to be a strategic partner for the long term and focusing on master services agreements instead of one-off projects.”
- “Customers interviewed for this assessment reported that Deloitte was extremely responsive to needs at all hours. Customers also mentioned that Deloitte provided excellent representation in guiding the relationship with outside counsel.”
- “Deloitte's focus on collaboration and detail helped clients navigate tough conversations.”
