Deloitte named a leader among Commerce Services providers by independent research firm
NEW YORK, NY, USA, 26 March 2021—Deloitte announced today that Forrester has named Deloitte a leader in Commerce Services in its recent report, The Forrester Wave™: Commerce Services, Q1 2021. Deloitte is recognized for its offerings pertaining to strategy, implementation, and change management.
Forrester included 14 vendors in the assessment, each of which has:
- A large commerce services practice.
- A presence in competitive deals.
- Demand by Forrester’s enterprise clients.
“Deloitte is honored to be recognized by Forrester as a top Commerce Services provider. At Deloitte, we look beyond the client to the human, shaping offerings around real lives to create sustainable business futures,” says Sam Roddick, Global Head of Deloitte Digital. “Our aim is to help clients build customer-centric organizations, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and strategies designed to sustain optimal business outcomes.”
The report explains, “The pandemic made it immediately and poignantly clear that every company in every industry needs a robust, omnichannel commerce strategy and set of capabilities. But that depends greatly on your business model, e-commerce history, and priorities….Marketplaces are drawing customers away, which makes them a priority for manufacturers and retailers alike, and customer demand for online commerce on emerging touchpoints like social commerce is soaring.”
“Deloitte believes in an end-to-end approach to Commerce Services, spanning client acquisition to conversion, service, retention, and loyalty,” says Ram Chandel, Digital Commerce Practice leader, Deloitte Digital. “To do so, we draw upon offerings across Deloitte, our ecosystems and alliance partners—delivering a one-stop-shop for reimagining our clients’ businesses.”
Additional findings in the Forrester report about Deloitte
- “Compared with other providers we evaluated, Deloitte shows strength and higher client satisfaction in commerce strategy services, commerce experience implementation services, and commerce operations implementation services.”
- “[Deloitte] has a large commerce practice that spans strategy, technology, and organizational change to help with enterprise commerce transformations.”
- “Deloitte also has strength in organization design and change management and customer data platforms.”
- “Deloitte’s commerce services employees serve clients around the world, with bigger commerce presences in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.”
