Efthymios Argyropoulos

Efthymios is a PhD Economist specialized in the modelling of climate and environmental risks, IRB and IFRS 9 credit risk modelling and macroeconomic forecasting. He has extensive professional experience in the Financial Services sector with solid understanding on the industry and the business challenges, requirements and requests banks are facing. The last two years he has managed large scale advisory projects for a number of financial institutions, ranging from SSM supervised banks to smaller banks in Greece and abroad. Prior to that, he was involved in the macro-financial policy making as a Financial Sector Economist in an international organization. His academic research has been published in high-rated peer reviewed journals.
