Sotiris Batzias is a Strategy Partner at Deloitte. He brings over 20 years of professional experience in strategic planning, business design, investment analysis and performance improvement. He is working across a wide range of economic sectors, developing innovative strategies to support growth and competitive advantage. He is particularly focusing on energy, utilities, industrials, construction and real estate, addressing mandates in the areas of energy transition, decarbonization, smart cities, e-mobility, innovation, industry 4.0, financing sustainability, economic development, impact analysis, etc. He is addressing corporate and business objectives for sustainable value creation, also employing economics for relevant policy advice and structural reforms. Sotiris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), an MSc from the University of Leeds, and an MBA (Finance) in Business Administration from Leeds University Business School.
