Sophie Manolis

Sophie is a Canadian Certified Public Accountant and a US Certified Public Accountant (Illinois). She has worked in public practice since 2002 and has served a wide range of clients in the real estate, retail, health, insurance, and non-for profit industries.  Since joining Deloitte Athens in 2007, she has served clients exclusively in the shipping industry. Her vast audit experience in the shipping industry includes audits of entities listed on the US markets, compliance with applicable IFRS/ U.S. GAAP, PCAOB standards and SEC rules and regulations, IPO and secondary offerings experience. She is also involved in the audits of private shipping companies reporting under IFRS and U.S. GAAP. Sophie is a member of the Greek Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
