Deloitte Private announces India’s Best Managed Companies for 2022

Best Managed Companies is a marquee recognition programme presented by Deloitte Private, exclusively focused on serving private companies.

Mumbai, 14 October 2022: In the second edition of India’s ‘Best Managed Companies’, Deloitte Private announced nine winners for 2022. The winning companies of India’s Best Managed Companies 2022 are Ajanta Pharma Limited, Coromandel International Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, Dabur India Limited, Endurance Technologies Limited, KEC International Limited, Orient Cement Limited, Welspun India Limited, and Zoho Corporation Private Limited.

Among those awarded this year, Dabur India Limited and KEC International Limited have made it to the list for the second time in a row. The programme successfully culminated in the Awards on 14 October 2022 in Mumbai, with the announcement of this year’s winners.

The companies that participate in the program go through a rigorous independent process where they are benchmarked against a common evaluation framework across four pillars of corporate excellence: strategy, capabilities and innovation, culture and commitment, governance and financials. We were delighted to see participants from last year participate this year again and made it to the list for the second consecutive year.”

Candidates gain value from Deloitte coaching while participating in the Best Managed Applicant Lab, where they reflect on what it takes to be “Best Managed” based on leading practices from nearly three decades of programme insights and interactions. After rigorous evaluation process, the winners are announced who help set the bar for future years and inspire potential "Best Managed Companies" to strive for the achievement. The Best Managed Companies programme has brought value to over 1,200 private companies across more than 45 countries.

The winners were assessed by a panel of exemplary jury consisting of industry experts Chetna Sinha, Founder - Chairperson Mann Deshi Bank and Mann Deshi Foundation; Harish Bijoor, Brand and Business Strategy Expert and Founder, Harish Bijoor Consults Inc; Kiran Karnik, Chairperson - Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi and Former President, NASSCOM; and Krishnakumar Natarajan, Co-Founder -Mela Ventures and Earlier Co-Founder at Mindtree.
