Dialogue with General Counsels and Legal Officers
Edition 3: Insights and learnings
The third edition of our newsletter aims to create meaningful discussions with the ever-evolving role of the legal teams at various organisations. The challenges created by the extended effects of the pandemic continue to push and drive change. This includes the roles and expectations of the General Counsels (GCs).
Our newsletter aims to share relevant information that can help GCs perform their role effectively. This edition covers GC priorities for 2021, and how to leverage legal technology effectively. This edition also features Atul Juvle, GC and Compliance Officer with Schindler India, sharing his experience in sustaining business operations during the pandemic last year. For senior GCs, US-based GC Coach Mark Roellig provides suggestions on skill development and investing in a team.
In most cases, the General Counsel’s role has become more strategic, and in some areas they are expected to deliver a tactical response to the changing scenario and events.
