Diversifying GCCs in India

“We (women) are willing to bring our own folding chairs if we must, yet organisations need to make some space at the table,” said Nita Balmohan Rajesh, an HR leader and Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) advisor, who has led HR teams in leading GCCs.

Research has consistently shown that diversity makes great business sense. Diverse teams tend to be better performers, more innovative, and produce better financial outcomes.

As GCCs continue to evolve from “cost arbitrage centre” to “trusted business partner” (a global skills hub that generates revenue and is a centre for innovation and transformation), diversity and inclusion may be the secret sauce in the recipe for success.
