Jehil Thakkar

Jehil leads the Media and Entertainment sector for Deloitte in India. Jehil has over 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment space and has worked with clients across the US, UK, France, South East Asia, Middle East and Japan in addition to India. He has worked on strategy, operations business planning and due diligence engagements for film, television, publishing, cable and satellite, music, digital media, and advertising companies.

Prior to joining Deloitte India, Jehil was a sector lead for Media and Entertainment at KPMG in India.

Jehil has spent several years in the US where he worked with a number of clients in the Media and Entertainment space in Los Angeles and New York.

Jehil was also part of a digital media incubator in Los Angeles where he worked with start-ups and entrepreneurial growth companies on business planning, financing, marketing and operations. Jehil has also briefly worked in International Distribution at 20th Century Fox, and in strategic planning at Dreamworks SKG. He had also co-founded a business weekly and a television production company in Mumbai.

Some of his clients include Viacom, Disney, Sony, 21st Century Fox, Zee, PVR, Inox, The Times of India, WPP, Dish Network, Google, Eros, and Reliance.
