Mayuran Palanisamy

Mayuran is a Partner at Deloitte India, leading the Digital Privacy and Trust practice with a specialisation in data privacy and data protection. 

With over 19 years of experience, he has successfully managed and delivered complex information security and privacy projects across multiple regions. Prior to joining us, he was a key member of another firm’s Global Data Privacy Team, playing a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive data protection frameworks. His expertise in IT risk management, combined with an in-depth understanding of business processes, allows him to provide practical and actionable solutions, helping organisations safeguard their data and maintain compliance with global privacy regulations. 

Mayuran holds a variety of esteemed certifications, including CISSP, IAPP FIP, CIPP/E, CIPT and ISO 27001, alongside an MBA and a Diploma in Cyber Law. His unique ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex IT and business challenges has positioned him as a trusted adviser for both organisations and clients.
