Deloitte at Davos 2016
World Economic Forum Annual Meeting
The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting (held in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, and typically referred to as Davos) presents a yearly opportunity to gauge the world’s perspective on pressing economic and social issues. Global leaders participate in a variety of panel discussions and private events, addressing topics at the forefront of the world agenda.
The Annual Meeting in Davos is an incredible convening center for global stakeholders and an opportunity to share perspectives on the issues facing global business and beyond. Deloitte’s delegation will convene in Davos from 20-23 January 2016 along with business and government leaders from around the globe to address the theme, “Mastering the Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
Each year, Davos presents an invaluable opportunity for Deloitte’s delegation to connect with clients from across industries and from around the world. In 2016, Deloitte will focus on the role of business in society, a theme that was introduced in 2012 and has consistently been built on since then. This year, we are specifically focused on the role that business can play in solving big issues in collaboration with other stakeholders.
Deloitte will release the results of the 2016 Millennial Survey prior to the event and make the survey’s findings the cornerstone of its on-site showcase. The showcase will feature the “ultimate infographic” which demonstrates the importance of Millennials for business and society, answering who they are and what makes them tick. Additionally, Deloitte will engage participants in an immersive social media experience under the overarching theme “#ImpactThatMatters” and "DavosMillennials."
The Deloitte delegation at Davos includes
Punit Renjen, CEO, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited
Cathy Engelbert, CEO, Deloitte US
Jim Moffatt, Chairman and CEO of Deloitte Consulting LLP in the US
Alain Pons, CEO, Deloitte France
David Sproul, CEO, Deloitte UK
2016 Deloitte Millennial Survey
Deloitte’s fifth annual Millennial Survey reveals two-thirds of Millennials express a desire to leave their organizations by 2020. Businesses must adjust how they nurture loyalty among Millennials or risk losing a large percentage of their workforces. The Millennial Survey and its findings are central to some of the important topics being discussed at Davos, including workforce dynamics and employment challenges. Insights from the survey provide global stakeholders with a roadmap of how employers can meet Millennials’ needs for professional development and career satisfaction.
