Eurasia Business Forum 2014
Deloitte's Strategic Partner
On 17-18 April 2014, Almaty hosted the Eurasia Business Forum, a unique innovation and communication initiative involving the international community in Kazakhstan and representatives from ministries and local institutions, demonstrating the country’s openness to attracting business and innovation, and its commitment to the "green" economy.
During the Forum, Deloitte CIS representatives, together with leaders from major international companies, took part in panel sessions and roundtables to discuss a wide range of current topics in 12 sectors of the economy.
The Deloitte delegation included
Alexander Sokolov, Partner, CIS Head of Forensic & Dispute Services, Fraud Investigation. Alexander took part in panel discussion of the Business losses from internal and external fraud. Alexander also gave a saminar on Approaches to the effective prevention of fraud.
Oleg Shvyrkov, Ph.D., Director for Corporate Governance, CIS, Moscow, gave his seminar about Changes in corporate management standards in Russia and Kazakhstan.
